Overview
SSC-Tracker is a hobby community project. It shows you and your group live on a map where you are flying in MSFS. It is made for soaring in MSFS, but it works for any other flight in MSFS 2020/2024 as well. Through SSC-Tracker your group can share a flight plan (.pln) and the weather (.wpr), and see the numbers that matter on a cross-country flight on a live scoreboard: distance to the next turnpoint, arrival height, average speed, who is ahead, and so on. On top of that there is a terrain profile of the task, a flight computer for the cockpit for gliders without one of their own (LXN), and the option to fly against a recorded flight (ghost flight from .igc files).
You need no login and no account.
SSC-Tracker app
The app is the hub. It talks to the simulator over SimConnect and runs a small web server on port 55055 on the side. Every module talks to the app: the panels, the map, Mini FC, Preflight and the Overlay all take their data from the PC the tracker app runs on.
The ssc-tracker.org server shares flight plans, weather and your group's live positions.
A second device on your LAN can open the map and the modules as well - several times over - using your PC's local IP address. See In the browser.
